Nasrin Hasani is a journalist in the city of Bojnourd, North Khorasan. She was arrested on September 30, 2022, following the outbreak of nationwide protests over the death of the 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in custody of the Morality Police.

Nasrin Hasani writes about social and political affairs and has often criticized the policies of the Islamic Republic. Last year, she was called to court to answer the charges brought against her.
