Saeed Ahmadi is a Kurdish media activist and the manager of a Telegram news channel. On April 4, 2020, he was arrested by agents from the Paveh Intelligence Division of the province of Kermanshah and taken to an unknown location.
Some media outlets reported that the reason for Ahmadi's arrest was his publication of news reports about the coronavirus outbreak in Iran.
According to another informed source, Ahmadi had been managing a Telegram channel called Shareh Keham Paveh (My City is Paveh), which has a following of approximately 20,000 members.
According to the HRA News Agency, Ahmadi’s Telegram channel published independent news about the Horaman region of Kurdistan.
